It utilizes Augmented Reality and the LiDAR sensor in iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro (models 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024). No other hardware or laser distance meters are necessary. Linear accuracy is mostly better than 2 cm (0.8 inch), area accuracy about 0.5 square meters (5 square feet) or about 1% of the room area. Create and share floor plans and estimates on site instantly. All data processing is done on the device, no cloud connection is necessary.
