An App to watch/observe your thoughts, drifts and maintain a register of the same for analysis.

This app is based on the book,” Zen-Yoga: A Creative Psychotherapy to Self-Integration” written by
Dr. P. J Saher which was subsequently annotated and reprinted by Dr. Ashish Shukla. I shall remain life-long grateful to them for choosing me to do so.
Following is the extract of foreword penned by Mr. James McCartney :
Dr. Saher explains clearly the mechanism by which the brain and mind operate in conjunction with bodily functions, emotions, and psychic experience, and also how these may be controlled and applied for our betterment.
He also shows how specific areas of the brain control similar areas of mind, how these can be applied to Self-analysis, and by means of exercises also given in the text, so control both mind and body, that Self-Realization is possible in the highest sense, and that even before this stage is reached, Health, Harmony and Serenity will be attained, surely to be prized for themselves alone.

How can this app be used?
The benefit of this app is up to the sense that it comes from the user’s zeal to work for his/her betterment.
Mindiesm:
This app is basically to register the thoughts going on in one’s mind and do self-analysis.
There are two ways to do the same.
Once a day: Set aside 10 – 15 min daily. Take any question/ thought that you would like to contemplate on and just be with that question. You would observe that the mind is drifted to other thoughts and then on and on. Acknowledge these drifts and register them after the 10-minute session.
For sake of simplicity, drifts are categorized into F, A, P, S and H. (Home Page)
F – Fear
A – Anger
P – Pain
S – Sensuous, Sexual
H – Hope (All positive thoughts fall under this category)
An analysis is to be carried out after registering the drifts for 90 days. (Analysis Page)
This analysis is to know which thoughts were dominant during the day, week or month.
I – Intellect comprises of H – Hope.
E – Emotion comprises F – Fear, A – Anger and P – Pain.
S – Sensuous comprises of S – Sensuous, Sexual.
Based on the ratio of respective categories of I, E and S, Corrective methods are to be applied.
Whole day: There is a reminder tab, wherein the user can set his preference so as to remind him to register this state of mind at a regular interval.
Eg. Let’s assume a reminder is set at 1 hr interval, you will receive and notification with an alarm every 1 hr... Become aware of what your thoughts are at that instant. Register the same in-app.
Self analysis is to be carried out after registering the drifts for 90 days. (Analysis Page)
Based on the ratio of the respective categories, Corrective methods are to be applied.
