Using a machine learning algorithm, the Diabits app builds a personalized model of your blood sugar. The model gives you estimates of your blood sugar up to 60 minutes ahead of time to help you better understand how different stimulus impact your blood sugar trends, and how to better avoid highs and lows. The Diabits app is the perfect companion app for users of Dexcom continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), or Nightscout. The machine learning model which powers the Diabits app takes between three and seven days to learn your personal physiology, and will become more accurate with continued use. The Diabits app, by default, sets the low boundary of your target range at 70 mg/dL or 3.9 mmol/L. The high boundary is set at 180 mg/dL or 10 mmol/L.
