SBRI+ 與 Hollow_ 使用情況與統計

The aim of the SBRI+ tool is to provide means to assess and compare the sustainability of different bridge types, in the early stages of design, implementing a holistic Lifecycle analysis methodology. The tool features three essential modules. The first one allows for the computation of Lifecycle Analysis for a single bridge alone - given parameters and data on the bridge properties. The second module enables users to run a Multi-criteria analysis when choosing between different elements/alternatives within the same bridge design type. Comparison of the Lifecycle Analysis of different bridge types can be performed by using the third module - Comparative Lifecycle Analysis. This tool has been developed as part of the RFCS project Valorisation of Knowledge for Sustainable Steel-Composite Bridges in Built Environment (SBRIPLUS) (contract 710068). The European Union’s Research Fund for Coal and Steel provided financial support for this application and their assistance is gratefully acknowledged.

Apps for design and validate unity check of Hollow Structure Section, unity check is the ratio between actual stress compare to allowable stress in accordance with Code and Standard. AISC ASD 9th edition 1989 is used for the design. User could customise section’s size and design parameter, the program have function to compile the Calculation Report and send it through email. Format of the Report is suitable for standard miscellaneous structure design calculation. Two available option of design unit : kN-m or kips-ft, geometry size use millimetre or inch. This program could be used for section’s properties calculator that include calculation of torsion constant “J”, or weight calculator to estimate beam’s weight per length.
