Ο CHOICE FM ξεκίνησε την λειτουργία του την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου 2003, με σκοπό να παρουσιάσει τις μεγαλύτερες ξένες επιτυχίες της παγκόσμιας μουσικής σε όλη την Λεμεσό. Σε σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, ο CHOICE FM αγαπήθηκε από τους φίλους της ξένης μουσικής καταφέρνοντας να γίνει το δημοφιλέστερο ραδιόφωνο ξένου ρεπερτορίου της Λεμεσού. Η έμπνευση για τη δημιουργία του σταθμού αλλά και η εκτέλεση της ιδέας ανήκει στον Μάριο Αργυρίδη που κουβαλά στην πλάτη του μακρά και βαθιά σχέση με το αντικείμενο του ραδιοφώνου που σημαδεύτηκε από την απίστευτη και πρωτόγνωρη επιτυχία που είχε στην Κυπριακή αγορά η άφιξη και η λειτουργιά του Kiss fm το 1996. Η δημιουργία του Choice έφερε στην Κύπρο ένα καταξιωμένο άνθρωπο του ραδιοφώνου από την Ελλάδα, τον Κώστα Σιτόπουλου, ο οποίος και συνεχίζει να συνεργάζεται με το σταθμό. Ο Κώστας Σιτόπουλος, που διατέλεσε διευθυντής προγράμματος στο Village Fm 88,3 στην Αθήνα, συνεχίζει και φέτος να έχει κάτω από τις αρμοδιότητες του το playlist αλλά και την ροή του σταθμού, ετοιμάζοντας παράλληλα νέα καινοτόμα παιχνίδια που είναι σίγουρο ότι θα αγαπηθούν από τους ακροατές από την πρώτη στιγμή. Παιχνίδια όπως το Famous 5, το Μαύρο Μαγικό Κουτί, ο Δραπέτης, αλλά και το Run, χάρισαν στους ακροατές χιλιάδες ευρώ, ταξιδιωτικά εισιτήρια , πανάκριβα gadgets όπως i-Pad’s, τηλεοράσεις, ηλεκτρονικούς υπολογιστές, αλλά πάνω από όλα έφερε σε μεγαλύτερη επικοινωνία μουσικούς παραγωγούς και ακροατές σε μία περίοδο που η επικοινωνία μεταξύ των ανθρώπων περνάει την δικιά της ‘’κρίση’’. Αυτό είναι και το ζητούμενο σε ένα επικοινωνιακό μέσο όπως είναι το ραδιόφωνο. Ο CHOICE FM πρωτοπορεί όμως και στο Facebook! Με πάνω από 24.000 μέλη, αριθμός ρεκόρ αφού δεν υπάρχει άλλο ραδιόφωνο αυτή την στιγμή στην πόλη της Λεμεσού με τόσους πολλούς θαυμαστές.
