It also includes a "Baby Tracker" feature that allows parents to monitor feedings, diaper changes, growth, and crying. This tracker is a valuable tool for recording and observing your baby's progress.
The app provides research-based articles, videos, and full-length programs on important child development subjects, including infant crying, sleeping, soothing, and coping with frustration. It is a collaboration between the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome (NCSBS) and Dr. Ronald G. Barr, a respected developmental pediatrician and renowned researcher in the field of infant crying.
The Period of PURPLE Crying app is increasingly being offered to parents in hospitals, home visiting programs, pediatric practices, and public health offices. If you're interested in accessing the app, ask your nurse or healthcare professional for an activation code.
