For over 150 years this story remained untold. “The Story of Pélagie” app was created to bring a face to the many brave African American women who remain faceless in the history books, and whose lives made a real difference in America. The app provides teachers with a tangible tool so users can move chronologically through the story, jump to a certain subject, or scroll through the timeline to a particular period.
