The app for participants and organizers of Regatta Hero regattas. The Regatta Hero system is particularly suited for club, fun, pursuit and training regattas. Handicap ratings are automatically applied in the race results or in the individual boats start time. The regatta participants have a smartphone on board that sends GPS coordinates and communicates all information. The app's data usage is approximately equivalent to streaming music or about 20-30 percent of what map apps consume in navigation mode per minute.
