Το Μουσείο Μπενάκη ανέπτυξε, με την υποστήριξη φίλων και αρωγών που ανταποκρίθηκαν στην
Εκστρατεία Συγκέντρωσης Πόρων του 2019, την εφαρμογή επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας «ΒΕΝΑΚΙ
1821» για την έκθεση «1821 Πριν και Μετά», τη μεγαλύτερη έκθεση που έχει διοργανωθεί ποτέ
από το Μουσείο. Με την εφαρμογή αυτή, ο χρήστης έχει τη δυνατότητα να «συνομιλήσει» με
περισσότερα από 30 εκθέματα και να δει την έκθεση με μια διαφορετική ματιά. Μέσα από την
οθόνη της συσκευής του, ο χρήστης θα δει πίνακες να «ζωντανεύουν», θα δοκιμάσει ψηφιακά
ρούχα και αντικείμενα ηρώων της επανάστασης και θα ανακαλύψει από πολύ κοντά λεπτομέρειες
εκθεμάτων, που δεν έχει τη δυνατότητα να δει διαφορετικά.

The Historical Archive in collaboration with the Municipal Library and the Municipal Gallery of the Directorate of Culture of the Municipality of Piraeus presents the exhibition "Piraeus, 1922: refugee documents”. The exhibition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, it focuses on Piraeus and narrates the historical conditions of the time through rare archival material, photographs, maps and other documents, as well as testimonies.
The application complements the exhibition with narratives and testimonies. By using QR codes in various points of the exhibition, the stories of the people of the Asia Minor Catastrophe are highlighted.
