Top 5000 English Words Quiz application is a great way to level up your English vocabulary with easy and fun quizzes!

The application has 5000 the most frequently used English words divided into 5 difficulty levels:
- The 1st level consists of 1000 must-have words for English language learners.
- Level 2 - Everyday words on different topics.
- The 3rd level allows understanding 90% of everyday English conversations.
- On level 4 you can use all these words with confidence, your English vocabulary will be fully functional
- Level 5 has top words for true learners and English language ninjas.
Every level composes of 6 categories of quizzes:
1. Fill The Gap
In this trivia, you need to finish the sentence or fill the gap with an appropriate word. A certain number of hints are given to you based on the word complexity. Each of them opens 1 letter of the English word you need to fill. To understand the context and learn the word, the 'Fill The Gap' quiz provides the description and word usage example.
2. 'Check the right answer' Quiz
In this trivia, you need to figure out which word suits the given English description. Usually, you need to pick 1 right answer out of 4 possible ones.
3. Matching
Here you need to correspond the English word with its description or a usage example. Just drag-and-drop the word tile over the description tile to check, whether you are right.
4. True/False Quiz
In this easy trivia, you need to agree or disagree with the statement in the question part. By answering True or False you move to the next question of a small number of words taken for this specific quiz.
5. Listening Quiz
Increase your English vocabulary with the right pronunciation of the word and boost your skills. Tap on the 'listen' button and choose the word you've just heard from the provided variants.
6. Learning
'Leaning' quiz is a mix of all the mentioned pieces of training above, kind of language comprehension. By playing with this quiz you master a small portion of words elected specifically for this session.

The activities in "4000 Essential English Words" are specially designed to make use of important learning conditions. Firstly, the words are introduced using sentence definitions and an example sentence. The activities that follow in the units encourage learners to recall the meanings and forms of the words. Some activities also make the learners think about the meaning of the words in the context of a sentence—a sentence different from the sentences that occurred in the introduction of the words. Moreover, each unit ends with a story containing the target words. While reading the story, the learners have to recall the meanings of the words and suit them to the context of the story. Such activities help learners develop a better understanding of a common meaning for a given word which fits the different uses.
Illustrations for each target word are provided to help learners visualize the word as it is being used in the example sentence. These word/image associations aim to help students grasp the meaning of the word as well as recall the word later. It should be noted that words have more than one grammatical category. However, this series focuses on the word’s most common form. This is mentioned to remind learners that just because a word is labeled and utilized as a noun in this series does not mean that it can never be used in another form such as an adjective. This series has simply focused on the word in the form that it is most likely to be expressed.
