The app for the CITY CYCLING campaign! CITY CYCLING App: Smart on the move. Track your routes easily via GPS and the kilometres are credited to your team and your municipality. Features and functions at a glance: TRACKING The routes you cycle will be tracked via GPS and the kilometres credited to your team and municipality. Furthermore your Tracks help to improve the local cycling infrastructure. All routes will be provided to the local traffic planers anonymised and in different visualisations. The more kilometres tracked, the more useful the results will be! For more information visit www.city-cycling.org/app TEAM OVERVIEW You are able to quickly check who in your team is cycling how much and how you compare to other teams in the results overview. TEAM CHAT Communicate with your team and motivate others to cycle even more in the intuitive team chat. GAMIFICATION THROUGH ACHIEVEMENTS Have more fun while cycling by earning small achievements. If you cycle diligently using the tracking function, your performance will be rewarded in form of awards in three categories. RADar! REPORTING PLATFORM Using this feature, you can draw municipal authorities’ attention to problematic and/or dangerous places along cycle routes. Simply position a pin on the street map and provide a brief explanation of the reason for your report. The information is automatically forwarded to the responsible municipality which can then take the appropriate action. For further information visit www.radar-online.net GENERAL This app needs to know your current position during tracking. Your phone’s GPS is used to determine this, which may cause your phone battery to discharge faster than usual. Friends, family and professional helpers become reachable with the push of a button. In case of an emergency, they'll know right away who needs help and where it's needed. Simply create your own SafeNow groups or use SafeNow in public SafeNow Zones. DECIDE WHO GETS YOUR ALARM The most relevant helpers are often people you trust and who are close by. Connect with others in SafeNow groups and decide for yourself who should get your alarm in case of emergency. PUSH THE BUTTON WHEN YOU NEED HELP Press and hold the SafeNow button when you feel uncomfortable. As long as you keep your finger on the button, SafeNow is active. If your finger leaves the screen, an alarm is triggered immediately. You can disarm the button at any time if you are fine again. DON'T MISS WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS (ALWAYS-LOUD MODE) We often miss calls and messages because we are too busy or don't know that they are truly important. As one of the few apps selected by Apple, SafeNow can play a loud sound even when your phone is silent or on "do not disturb”. By using "always-loud mode” you don’t miss an alarm when it's really important. REACH PROFESSIONAL HELPERS IN SAFENOW ZONES Within a public SafeNow Zone, you can reach professional helpers on site. The app automatically displays when you're in a SafeNow Zone and tells you if helpers are available. SafeNow Zones are provided by companies and institutions to make their venues safer for their guests. SafeNow allows to protect areas that are usually difficult or impossible to monitor (such as restrooms or hotel rooms) can be covered. YOUR DATA. YOUR PRIVACY. Your data will only be used to enable your helpers to better find you. Your location is exclusively shared with your helpers during alarms. We don't run ads nor make money off your personal data.
