HOW TO PLAY CANASTA The goal of Canasta is to collect as many points as possible by drawing and removing peer cards. Unlike Rummy, Canasta is not about ending the game as fast as possible. To complete a round, you need a set of seven cards which is called natural Canasta. A mixed Canasta must contain at least four equal cards. The rest can be filled with wild cards. In addition to the Joker, all 2s are considered wild cards.
