City of Floating Sounds is a bespoke mobile app created to accompany Huang Ruo’s meditative new work. The North American premiere will be performed by the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center in David Geffen Hall on July 23 & 24, 2024.
Guided by the app, make your way through New York City listening to fragments of Huang Ruo’s new symphony. As you get closer to Lincoln Center - and other audience members - the sound will expand, revealing more parts of the work. Can you find other audience members to create a richer sound?
