Since January 2022, there has been a close hospital partnership on the topic of regional anaesthesia, with the aim of making operations pain-free, no matter where you are including low-resource environments.
This app was created through the joint work of clinicians from Gulu Regional Referral, Gulu-Uganda and Werner Forßman Hospital, Eberswalde - Germany.

The app uses synthetic echo images based on an artificial 3-dimensional human heart model, with interactive labeling to show what anatomic structures are being displayed. This app is NOT able to actually perform a real ultrasound examination on a real patient, neither is it able to transform your device into a real ultrasound machine, nor is this app intended to provide any medical diagnostic or therapeutic guidelines whatsoever.
