Beginners can choose an easier formula by hiding only 3 or 4 pegs and using only 6 colors instead of 8. How does a game of Code Breaker unfold? The player fills the current row with colored tokens. Upon validating the row, the number of pegs that correspond by their position and color to a hidden peg is indicated by a value in the black circle. The number of pegs that correspond only by their color is indicated in the white circle.
