He was a guest professor for the numismatics program at the UNED (2005-12) and is a court-appointed expert in numismatists and tax law (APEPJIC). Cayón is the main coin provider to the Spanish Culture Ministry (as of 2009, private sales and Auctions). Cayón is the only Spanish dealer to attend major coin fairs globally.
