This app uses the front-facing infrared camera and the rear LIDAR based camera to be able to see in the dark. This app requires a device that has Face ID in order to work. In order to use the LIDAR feature, the device must have the LIDAR hardware. This app requires an iOS device with FaceID, such as the iPhone 14, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 14 Plus, 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 13 mini, 12, 12 Pro, 12 mini, 11, 11 Pro, XS, and X. SEE USING LIDAR On the iPhone 12 Pro and the 3rd and 4th generation iPad Pros with LIDAR, you can use the back facing LiDAR scanner to see in the dark. The app does not require any light to operate and can work in complete darkness. SEE WITH INFRARED TRUE DEPTH For compatible devices (devices with FaceID), the front-facing true depth camera is used to see in the dark.
