Scale and SticKey vs iPiano Chords HD使用状況と統計

Scale and SticKey makes understanding music theory simple and enjoyable by synthesizing 5 theoretical concepts (modes, key signatures, scales, chord progressions, and solfa) into the concept of building a Note Team (TM). To get started (clicking the help '?' icon in the app will walk you through these steps): 1. Spin the solfa wheel or drag the solfa slider to put 'do' on a new position. 2. Drag the players around the outside of the wheel so that every player lines up with one of the seven solfa positions. (If you get stuck, click the central circle with the '?' to have the app move the players for you.) 3. Once every player is on a solfa position, you have formed a Note Team (TM)! The team captain has an arrow pointing at his solfa symbol, the key signature is shown in the center of the wheel, and the key is named at the top of the screen. 4. To change modes, either double-click on a new solfa name or use the arrows under the key name at the top of the screen. Each time you change modes, you are changing the tonal center (or tonic), which means your team has a new captain. The key name always begins with the name of the team captain. 5. Listen to the scales by clicking the play arrow under the key name. Change the type of scale by selecting a new icon under the key name. Options include: 7-note (heptatonic), 5-note(pentatonic), 6-note (blues), 8-note (bebop) and raised 7th (harmonic or melodic minor) scales. 6. Listen to chord progressions by clicking the arrow under the chord progression. Change the progression style by selecting a new icon under the chord progression, or switch to a new progression using the previous / next arrows next to the play button. 7. Play an individual chord by pressing the chord symbols inside the circles just outside the wheel. 8. Return all elements to their original positions by clicking the reset button.

After a longer break, I put some time back into the iPianoChords app. On the one hand, now a little clearer without completely changing the look, so there is still not much similar about piano chords in the APP Store. Now optimized for all iPads and landscape mode, I added a few adjustments: In addition to the variants to choose a chord with swipe as chord selection by name, via filter function, as chord reverse search and the scale library, we now have the note view active in all modes. The quiz mode has been revised and now includes chord inversions, this also applies to reverse search. The levels are classified differently as before and designed for beginners. Only the last levels are for the chord masters. And after multiple requests now with midi input. A connected midi keyboard via cable or Bluetooth is recognized directly and you can use it in quiz mode and for reverse search. Some Bluetooth keyboards needs to be connected via GarageBand and can then be used. If there are several midi sources, a dialog is displayed for selection. We also kept the export function for chord diagrams as an image, but I can recommend the ChordPainter in the AppStore. It will create a piano songbook with chord diagrams instead of a notes in minutes. The rest is the same and iPianoChords HD has a Chord Library engine with over 2300 chords. You could select the chord with direct selection by using buttons or the new enhanced filter mode. The Reverse Chord Finder could help you finding the chords for given Piano keys. Also chord inversion are added to the search process, which will offer a very good search result. We added a new Scale Library with 46 Scales in all 12 root notes. There is now a Note System Display available and the display position could be switched in 3 positions. Please note that I'm using a simplified display which may not always 100% musically correct. For all musician are not very familiar with notes, we have added a function to export Chord images. Simply tab your chord notes with red keys, additional solo notes with yellow keys and the left hand chord with blue circle markers. Add a name for your chord image and the chord snapshot function will copy this image to the photo library. --------------------------------------------------- Midi input via cable or Bluetooth Huge chord library Chord with inversions Scale library Chord play mode within 3 octave positions Piano sample sounds Chord selection with chord buttons Limit chord selection buttons Chord selection with filter options Chord search function Simple root note selection Root note display Note name display Alternate chord names Chord formula display Half-tone search pattern Three color chordpainter function Chord snapshot option Note system display Select note system root with 7#/b Language select DE/EN 10 Quiz levels with 1..6 for beginners Quiz with chord names Quiz mode with chord image Quiztimer could be activated Six possible Quiztimer values Plus/Minus quiz answer counter Levels from Powerchords to jazz chords Inversionen im Quiz aktivieren Chord inversion display Landscape and portrait mode Integrated on-screen help Mode select input slide mode Menu selection for input modes
