This is a turn based game. Take your turn at any time and the check back later to see if others have taken theirs. You generally have 24 hours to take your turn or it might get skipped.

Battle Fields is a turn-based tactical war game. A player commands a number of units on a map of hexagons, trying to accomplish mission objectives ranging from defending important locations to simply destroying all enemy forces. Damaged units may be repaired or replaced by new recruits, while victorious squadrons will improve their abilities so they will be even more difficult to beat next time.
The strategy logic and user interactive concept are inspired by the original Blue Byte's Battle Isle. Most graphics, music, map and text materials come from public domain licensed by Creative Commons License or General Public License.
