Die UK-Coach App informiert über die Weiterbildung zum UK-Coach © und andere Seminare in diesem beruflichen Anwendungsfeld. Die Inhalte, Termine und Preise können abgerufen werden. Der direkte Kontakt, Terminabsprachen, Telefonkontakt oder E-Mail kann schnell hergestellt werden. Aktuelle Änderungen oder neue Seminare sind für Interessierte zeitnah abrufbar. Bereits seit 2008 wird die berufsbegleitende Weiterbildung erfolgreich durchgeführt. Somit konnten insgesamt über 100 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern das UK-Coach©-Zertifikat überreicht werden! Um Unterstützte Kommunikation (UK) zu können, ist es unerlässlich das gesamte Lebensumfeld der Nutzer mit einzubeziehen. Damit verbunden sind verschiedene Erwartungen und Einstellungen, die jede Person, die mit den Nutzern in Verbindung steht, mit sich bringt. Diese Erwartungen und Wünsche miteinander zu vereinbaren und dabei die betreffende Person nicht aus dem Auge zu verlieren, sondern im Mittelpunkt aller Überlegungen zu sehen, stellt häufig eine große Herausforderung dar. Im Zusammenspiel von Fach- und Coaching-Modulen entwickeln die Teilnehmenden der Weiterbildung ein vertieftes Verständnis von den vielfältigen Aufgaben einer professionellen Begleitung im Bereich der UK und erwerben die hierfür notwendigen Kompetenzen um letztlich als professionelle Berater (Coaches) auftreten zu können.
