About this app YouID is your digital wallet. YouID is a secure digital wallet that lets you safely store personal details and physical IDs in a digital and encrypted format so that you can use it to access online services securely without having to fill any form again. Your details are safe Digitally capture details of your government approved ID by scanning it directly into YouID. We accept Passports, Driving Licenses, and National ID cards from all African countries. Any details you add to your YouID are encrypted into unreadable data that only you can unlock. The private encryption key to your data is stored safely on your phone – only you can activate this key and access your details using your Password, PIN, or Biometrics.
