You can set the 'Minimum Speed' before you receive an alert to prevent unnecessary alerts while you're stationary. 25 to 30 km/h is a good setting. You can also set the Mobile Speed Camera and Fixed Speed Camera alerts to repeat every 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5-minute intervals. Apple CARPLAY Tip for CARPLAY users: my experience is that the Voice Alerts will subdue your music for a few seconds during the 'alert' then allow your music to resume. If the 'Over-Speed" alert stops your music then set the "Over-Speed" audio alert toggles to OFF - be sure to leave the "Notifications, Haptic (vibrate) and Visual" alerts ON.
