Bay View Academy is a co-educational private school located in Karachi, Pakistan. It is registered with the University of Cambridge for O-level examination purposes. Ms. Safia Shaikh and Mr. Shahpur Jamall established Bay View Academy in 1990. Ms. Shaikh was at the time running Shaikh’s Montessori, a very highly regarded Montessori school established in 1984. Mr. Jamall returned to Karachi with an M.Ed. in Education from UCLA in 1989. The school initially began as a Pre-Primary to Junior school, with classes from Nursery to Class VI, and the Senior School was established in 1999. In 2013, Bay View opened a new branch in Clifton followed by the PECHS branch in 2015. Bay View Academy currently has three campuses across the city with approximately 1600 students. With the assistance of extremely talented and committed faculty, Bay View Academy has earned the reputation of being one of the leading educational institutions in Karachi.
