With the software, a created safety configuration can be examined and verified at a glance. All relevant data is graphically displayed in real-time directly on the robot: Monitoring spaces, safety-oriented tools and the cell area. The display of the corresponding configuration parameters of the spaces or tools is also possible. In addition, movements can be simulated with a virtual robot and tool. This allows potential collisions to be detected without having to move the physical robot. Furthermore, with the integrated demo mode the functions can be tried out without an actual robot. The app is easy to set up and operate: After installation on the iPhone or iPad, all relevant robot data is sent directly from the controller to the mobile device via WLAN through a router or access point (not a KUKA product) and displayed visually. The KUKA.MixedReality Safe technology package is used for this purpose, which needs to be installed on the robot controller. In addition, the KUKA.SafeOperation technology package must be installed to use the safety functions.
