The 17th Annual Physical Therapy Education Leadership Conference: Pursuing Excellence and Innovation in Physical Therapy Education! The conference, which is abbreviated as ELC 2022, will be located in the beautiful city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, October 28-30, 2022. ELC 2022 is a collaborative effort of the APTA Academy of Education (the Academy) and the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) designed to excite, educate, invigorate, and facilitate discussion among all stakeholders in physical therapy education. The success of this conference lies with our shared passion for excellence in physical therapy education as well as the active participation of all of you - PT and PTA program directors and chairs, PT and PTA educators, directors of clinical education, clinical instructors and site coordinators of clinical education, faculty, and residency/fellowship educators.

Founded in 1977, the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL) is a professional organization of scholars who are interested in and actively contribute to the multi-disciplinary field of applied linguistics. AAAL members promote principled approaches to language-related concerns, including language education, acquisition and loss, bilingualism, discourse analysis, literacy, rhetoric and stylistics, language for special purposes, psycholinguistics, second and foreign language pedagogy, language assessment, and language policy and planning.
Organizationally, AAAL is the United States affiliate of the International Association of Applied Linguistics (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée, AILA).
Nationally and internationally, the AAAL conference has a reputation as a comprehensive and stimulating conference, including in-depth colloquia and paper sessions, topical and thought-provoking plenary presentations, excellent book exhibits, and plentiful opportunities for networking.
