This app is used to convert numbers among decimal, hex, binary and gray code. If a user changes any one of these numbers, the other ones will change accordingly. It is a handy calculator for engineers to obtain the binary or gray code values from a decimal, or vise versa.
In addition, an animated solution of a Hanoi Tower with three disks is also demonstrated based on the input number.

SciHex is designed for today's touchscreen devices. Touch gestures are used for several operations to make them more natural. Swipe left on the hexadecimal view to sign extend. Horizontal pinch or zoom on either value will change the display precision. Vertical zoom on the values will open the new binary and character expansion. The toolbar is customized by drag and drop of function keys or memory values.
