Hieratic was the everyday script of ancient Egyptians, their form of cursive handwriting. This App is the first to help in learning Hieratic! 200 hieratic characters are contained in the set. The app has versions of these characters from the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom! Included are all the alphabetic glyphs as well as the most common biliterals and triliterals (double and triple consonants). For all who enjoys Ancient Egypt: Students, Enthusiasts, and Professionals! Hieratic is very challenging to learn and while this App is not, by any means a complete reference, it does offer a painless introduction to recognizing hieratic glyphs!
