European Fascist Movements vs. Castlecomer Museum of Mining Utilizzo e statistiche
European Fascist Movements is a project is led Dr Roland Clark (University of Liverpool) and Professor Tim Grady (University of Chester), which brings together twenty experts on interwar European fascism to translate never before seen sources on fascist movements. These sources will soon be available in book form from Routledge, and form the basis for the descriptions in this app. They show how fascists spread their ideas, mobilised their supporters, and how violence, religion, and gender shaped the movements.
You can use the app to identify places where fascist groups were active during the 1920s and 1930s, and to get a glimpse of what life was like during 'the age of fascism'.

Preserving our coal-mining heritage has been a key local concern since the mines closed in 1969. In 2007, the coal-mining museum opened in Castlecomer, providing a permanent acknowledgement of the area's identity & sense of place. This digital project provides an equality of access through modern, accessible digital platform, affirming the importance of Castlecomer and North Kilkenny’s mining heritage by sustaining the museum content into the future. The digital tour experience will reach diverse audiences connecting our coal-mining heritage with audiences & mining communities across Europe & the world.
