TrueWorld Maps: Country Facts vs Map Marker Usage & Stats

Is Greenland really as big as South America? Because the Earth is a sphere, it's impossible to show it perfectly on a flat map. This means all maps are distorted. With this simple app, you can compare countries and see their actual sizes. Just search or tap and hold on the country you'd like to explore. You can then move it around the map and watch it change size as it moves closer to or farther from the equator. You'll also learn interesting facts about each place. This app also includes offline maps, allowing you to use it even without an internet connection. This is a great tool for teachers, kids, and anyone interested in geography. Disclaimer regarding politics and disputed territories: The primary purpose of this app is to provide an understanding of the relative sizes of countries. It is not intended to accurately reflect national boundaries or current political statuses.
