EPICC+ vs STARS Utilisation & Stats
Created by Lisa Hightow-Weidman, MD, MPH, a public health scientist, EPICC+ is a research study with the goal to: 1) adapt and enhance existing education tools to facilitate PrEP decision making between providers and clients, 2) train providers on the use of the adapted education tools and communication techniques, and 3) evaluate the impact by following a group of racially and geographically diverse youth over 12-18 months. EPICC+ users need a code to open the app. To learn more about the study, email EPICC@nursing.fsu.edu.

STARS is a research study app designed to provide health and wellness information and resources relevant to sexual and gender minority youth. STARS includes a range of life skills topics to support users’ psychological well-being over time. The principal investigators for this study are Dr. José Bauermeister and Dr. Lily Brown at the University of Pennsylvania.
