QSheets is a quick and easy-to-use app for displaying text, images, and playback of audio files. It allows users to create a folder structure in iCloud, which is used to navigate through the content. Although developed for a gigging keyboard player, the app can be used for various purposes, such as lead sheets, song texts, quizzes, and presentations. - Displays sheets full screen from both text, PDF and image files - Playback Audio Files - Send multiple MIDI program changes per sheet - All Managed from iCloud One of the standout features of QSheets is that there is no need to scroll through sheets in a folder, as all sheets are displayed at once. The interface is clean and straightforward, and there are many under-the-hood features that enhance the user experience. To use the app, users must log in to iCloud on an iOS device and start the app, which will create a QSheet folder in iCloud. Users can then create a folder structure in iCloud either from the device or via a Mac or iCloud in the cloud. After pressing the refresh button or restarting the app, users can navigate the folders by pressing the buttons. When a sheet is selected, it is displayed full screen. Users can navigate to the previous or next sheet by clicking on the left or right side of the screen, respectively. Pressing in the middle will return to the folder view. QSheets also supports the playback of audio files, such as .mp3 files, and MIDI program changes, including basic MIDI program changes with or without Bank Select. The app supports .txt and .jpg files for sheets and up to 500 items can be stored in one folder. The app automatically downloads iCloud folders of offline usage when the folder is selected. Files are sorted with folders on top, and folders have a slightly darker color and brackets [ ] around their names. The battery and clock are displayed bigger to be visible during performances from a larger distance. If the battery turns red, the power is disconnected. Images are displayed as big as possible with the correct aspect ratio. Text files as big as possible without the need to wrap the text. QSheets also includes special MIDI program changes option for Nord Stage 3, Nord Stage 4, and Nord Wave 2. The manual is added to the iCloud folder QSheets at startup with details. Full Core-MIDI support: * Other apps publish their MIDI input and output ports: you activate the connection in this app. Active connections are reestablished, if possible, at app restart. * This app publishes a MIDI input and output: you activate the link in another app or the other app automatically activates the connection. (Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive) Supported file formats and extensions: * Sound fonts (sf2) * Downloadable Sounds (dls) * Logic Pro EXS-24 instrument Files (exs) * Audio Unit Presets (aupreset) * Zip files (zip) Inter-App-Audio, AudioBus 3 and Audio Unit support: You can use the audio output of the app in other apps: * Record a MIDI performance in Garageband, AudioShare or other apps. * Add sound effects in GarageBand, VoiceSynth or other apps. * Use a sound font as an Audio Unit in a host app. (Experimental) Limitations: * Speech output can not be sent to other apps. * Playing many notes per second can push older devices to their limits. When you hear a scraping noise, try terminating other apps. Have fun!
