VivA se Lees-en-luister-app is ‘n Afrikaanse lees-app, wat gerig is daarop om gebruikers se Afrikaanse lees- en skryfvermoë te verbeter. Hierdie app is geskik vir gebruikers van alle ouderdomme en vir lesers met verskillende leesvaardighede.
Hierdie app is ‘n verlengstuk van VivA se Lees-en-luisterbiblioteek (beskikbaar by www.viva-afrikaans.org) en bevat geskrewe tekste wat voorgelees word waardeur die klank- en skrifbeeld gelyktydig vir lesers aangebied word.
Die inhoud is op die volgende wyse georden:
-Kinderstories met ‘n “teksverligtende saamleesfunksie” en prentjies.

VivA’s Lees-en-luister-app (read-and-listen app), is an Afrikaans reading app that is aimed at helping readers improve their Afrikaans reading and writing skills. It is suitable for users of all ages and readers with varying reading abilities.
This app is an extension of the VivA Lees-en-luisterbiblioteek (available on www.viva-afrikaans.org) and features written texts that are read aloud, which present the sound and written representation of the language simultaneously.
The content is presented as follows:
-Children’s stories with a “text highlighting” read-along function and storybook illustrations.
Level 1: First words
Level 2: First sentences
Level 3: First paragraphs
Level 4: Longer paragraphs
Level 5: Read out loud (without text highlighting)
-Short stories with longer texts for more advanced readers.
Level 1: Read with support (text highlighting)
Level 2: Read with partial support
Level 3: Read with minimal support
