FARAD’s VetGRAM vs Feedlot Atlas Utilisation & Stats
The Veterinarian's Guide to Residue Avoidance Management (VetGRAM) is a comprehensive, searchable, and up-to-date information resource for drugs approved in food-producing animal species. VetGRAM users can create customized searches to obtain approved drug uses, government restrictions, required withdrawal times and tolerances for any drug approved by the FDA for use in food-producing animal species. A withdrawal date calculator provides the date on which animals or their products can be used for food after the FDA-mandated waiting period following administration of a drug at the approved label dose(s) in an approved animal species.
This app contains a local copy of the drug database, therefore an internet connection is not required for searches.
This mobile version was developed at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA. It is based on information found in VetGRAM (http://www.farad.org/vetgram), which is one of the information resources provided by the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank.
This project is supported by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) for the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank (FARAD) Program.
Developed for FARAD by Enterprise Software Engineering under the direction of Dr. Fiona Maunsell, Professor, and Carolyn Whitford, IT Project Manager at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

The Feedlot Atlas app is intended to help veterinary students, technicians, clinicians, specialists, and cattle producers. It contains a thorough and comprehensive collection of feedlot cattle diseases that ranges from rare conditions of unknown etiology to very well understood and common diseases, with 10 chapters arranged by body system available in Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish.
There are over 700 educational, highly informative high resolution images in the atlas. Although most of the images are of postmortem lesions, pictures of clinical findings in live animals are also included where applicable. Postmortem examination has been and continues to be the main diagnostic procedure used for feedlot cattle diseases.
The aim of this atlas is to provide the user with reference photographs of different lesions and diseases encountered in cattle practice.
