Chandigarh Baptist School is a place where education is a mission. Desiring to educate children from the economically weaker section of society, principal Sarojini Masih and her husband, Rev Nazir Masih, started the school in 1986. From the humble beginnings of nine pre-nursery students meeting at a personal residence, the school is thriving today on its two-acre campus where the large facility accommodates nearly 1,300 students from pre-nursery through class XII. Currently, approximately 30% of the students are provided schooling at little or no cost as part of the school’s economically need-based consideration program.
