Design for the Common Good vs MDD – Museum der Dinge Utilisation & Stats

Design for the Common Good (DCG) International Exhibition app brings together a coalition of networks committed to design practice, education, and research to improve social, economic, and environmental outcomes globally. Five international networks represent this effort to support and promote systemic change in the practices of design with the intent of building on common ground. The app features a personalized glance of six Curator's Picks that are a part of a larger in-person exhibition hosted at Metropolitan State University of Denver's Center for Visual Art; on view from January 14 through March 19, 2022. Like the app, the exhibition showcases public interest design projects from six continents and twenty-two countries. Learn about these pertinent works and gain a detailed archive of all projects, authors, and locations within the exhibition.

A must for everyone interested in design, for fans of odd and antiquated things, and Berlin explorers. Features of the App der Dinge: - Themed self-guided tours of the permanent exhibition in text and audio - Complete information on individual objects - A map to the objects’ locations - Space for your notes and favourites - General information about the Museum and your visit Discover the objects in three ways: 1. Themed tours 2. Explorer mode: stroll through the Museum and use QR codes to get information 3. Choose what you want to look at in the app’s tile view of all objects Functions: - QR codes on the display cases link to information on the objects - All information is available in German, English and simple language Technical hints: We recommend you bring along earphones to use in the Museum. You can also download the app on-site: the Museum has free Wifi for all visitors.
