Parametric Creature: Lab vs Vector Field: Particle Flow Usage & Stats

Cohesion, Alignment, Separation... In this work, more than 15k particles of three types wander around the screen, each controlled by eight different parameters, together forming a complex and interesting bionic system. In nature, many life forms are like this system, evolving complex group behavior from individual simple rules. From small cell division and ant pathfinding, to large crowds gathering and dispersing and bird migration. Advanced GPU parallel algorithms based on the theory of complex systems are used to make this large-scale real-time simulation possible, allowing users to adjust parameters by adjusting knobs to explore the metaphor of life and biodiversity in the work.

Visualize vector fields with particle flow! Enter the equation of the field and let the app simulate thousands of particles moving along the vector field. Use the time variable "t" to simulate time dependent fields. Tweak the different parameters of the simulation like speed, color, vector normalization, and more. The app supports many elementary functions such as cos, exp, sqrt, etc.
