Scales and modes are crucial building blocks of music, and the patterns they form on guitar and bass fretboards are instructional and entertaining, especially when animated. Jazzhacker Scales for Guitar (G6) includes 340 6-string guitar scale and mode images, color-coded and featuring stylized fretboards with fret references and note locations, and formula and note references. The user may select an image to view or select a standard slideshow to play, or build a custom slideshow, for practice or study or entertainment. Images and slideshows may be viewed in full-screen mode and run with or without the built-in, adjustable metronome.
