How it works: - Each time you swipe your card - Spare Change rounds your amount up to the nearest dollar, and sets the ‘spare change’ aside (so for a $3.70 transaction, you set $0.30 aside for charity). - Jump into the app, and securely donate your Spare Change to vetted non-profits working on a cause you’re passionate about. - We’ll give you detailed insights about the impact you made, messages from non-profits, and keep track of your tax documents. Our mission is to direct more resources to the causes that need them most. To that end, Spare change makes a commitment to: - Give you confidence your money is going to a good cause: we personally vet each non-profit we put on our platform. And we surface how we made our decision for each charity we chose. And if there’s a particular charity you’d like to donate your spare change to - that works too! We’ll show you the information we have, and let you make a decision. - Show you the impact you made: we know these causes are important to you.
