Be a part of the solution and join We Don’t Waste in our mission to divert good food from landfills, and help feed your neighbors as a #WeRescue volunteer!  In as little as 30 minutes, you can rescue surplus food from going to waste and deliver it to nonprofits that serve people experiencing food insecurity. YOU can feel good by making a difference and giving back to your local community while protecting our planet from food waste.  GET STARTED Set your preferences for when you want to do food rescues. Get alerts when rescues become available. Choose rescues that fit your schedule. Rescue every day, every week, or just when you have some free time. Volunteers get information on where to pick up the food and where to drop it off — we’ll guide you every step of the way. Because you’ll drop off directly to organizations that distribute food, you can see firsthand your impact on food insecurity. We Don’t Waste is a Denver-based food recovery nonprofit founded in 2009 that recovers surplus food from the food industry and distributes it to local nonprofit partners.
