Crazy Eights is a shedding-type card game for two to seven players. The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. If you draw a card that you can play, you may play it immediately. If you play an Eight, you must choose a new suit. The next player must then play a card of that suit, or draw a card. If you are the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand, you win the round. The other players then count the points in their hands. Each Eight is worth 50 points, Face cards are 10 points each, and all other cards are worth their face value. The player with the fewest points at the end of the game wins.
