Alphabet Book has been specifically designed to help you learn the alphabet. Learning the alphabet is not difficult as long as it is fun.
The app aims to make it fun and educational. It is important to learn the name, shape, and sound of each letter. Once this is mastered, you will be on the road to become a reader.
The app displays each letter of the alphabet and associate that letter with an object or animal. There will be animation to making learning fun and entertaining. In addition to the alphabet, there will be a sentence made using the letter to describe what the animation is about. An additional page will include more objects or animals starting with the letter selected with audio.
There are also five buttons at the top of the screen. When the first button is pressed, you will be taken to another screen which will display objects/animals beginning with the letter. When you touch the photo, the word will be read out. There is also an additional button which will take you to another screen where you can learn about fruits beginning with that letter. When the second button its pressed, you will be taken to a screen that teaches how to write the letter. When the third button is pressed, you will hear the letter, phonic and the word. When the fourth button is pressed, you will hear the word being read. The fifth button allows to to start/stop the animation.
Once you can read or recognise the letter, there are two additional functions that show how the characters are written. One function will display the strokes to write the letter and the other function will show the strokes to do cursive writing.
Additional function is Cats with a description of the cat. Audio is added to for the description.
There is also a Colouring function to make learning more interesting. You can also practise writing the letters of the alphabet using this function.
