Waltham Forest Council recognises that street based harassment is an ongoing threat to women and girls in the borough. We want to ensure our streets are safe for everyone and are committed to taking action to end street harassment.
Created in partnership with Stop Hate UK, the Waltham Forest Safe Streets app offers an easy way to report incidents of street harassment in the borough and access support.
Our app allows users to:
Upload video/audio/photos as evidence
Pinpoint the incident location
Access support from Stop Hate UK’s support helpline
Anyone who has experienced or witnessed street harassment in the borough can use this app to
Report the incident for formal investigation by police or the council
Report anonymously for information only
Access specialist support services
