The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49 μT (microtesla) or 490 mG (milligauss); 1 μT = 10 mG. If any metal is nearby, the value of the magnetic field will increase. The usage is simple: launch this app on your mobile device and move it around. You will see that the magnetic field level shown on the screen is constantly fluctuating. The chart will increase, and the device will vibrate and make sounds, announcing that the metal is close. You can change the sensitivity of vibration and sound effects in the settings.
