Dear VanMoof riders,   we have created a simple app to enable you to generate your unique digital key and keep riding even if the servers go down. Save your bike key on your phone and keep riding*. We don’t capture any data, everything is saved securely on your phone so you can have a direct connexion to your bike if VanMoof services are down. Just generate your local key and enjoy peace of mind again. This app is developed as an initiative from Cowboy during a one-day hackathon as we share the belief that every single bike deserves to be on the road.   * Only supporting S3/X3 models for now.

Using the CopyID app, make a secure copy of your Dutch identity document and protect your identity data. - Take a photograph of your identity document. - Cross out information that is not relevant for the recipient. - Enter for whom the copy is intended and for what purpose the copy is required. This text is superimposed with the date on the copy, as a watermark. - You can then send, print or save the copy for subsequent use. You can only store the copy if your telephone or tablet is password protected. This app is issued by the National Office for Identity Data - Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations.
