The SD Emergency app contains disaster preparedness information, like: • The ability to create your own emergency plan • The ability to build an emergency supplies kit And when disaster strikes, the SD Emergency app will keep you and your family informed with: • Emergency updates • Interactive emergency maps • Shelter locations • ShakeReadySD Earthquake alerts from USGS • Interactive earthquake maps from USGS Notification: A known defect exists in this release in which, under certain circumstances, earthquake reports are not displayed in the app. This defect does not affect Earthquake Alert functionality. Plus, the app features a recovery section with resources during the aftermath of disasters. The County of San Diego Office of Emergency Services (OES) created the SD Emergency app to better prepare and inform San Diego County residents and visitors about disasters.
