The app reflects data provided by county Emergency Management Agencies (EMAs). Some counties only update their status when there is a change, so they may not regularly confirm that conditions remain 'Normal.' For instance, if County X has had no travel emergencies since June and remains 'Normal,' there would be no updates. When a travel emergency does occur, the county EMA updates the status, and the change is reflected in the app. It's recommended to consult additional sources, such as local news, travel, weather, and social media platforms, for comprehensive travel information.
