It aims to engage and empower citizens of Bhutan to meaningfully engage in participatory local governance. The key features in the LG app Bhutan: -It offers an avenue for accessing the 17 chapters of the Local Government Acts of Bhutan, and its rules and regulations. -The contents can be accessed in both English and Dzongkha. After installation, users will be prompted to select any of the preferred languages. Similarly, the languages can be switched timely as per users’ preference. -All the chapters and contents of the Local Government Acts of Bhutan can be accessed alternatively through the audio format. The audio format provides voice narration of all contents.
