VHF at Sea - Your assistant in preparation for the VHF maritime radio operator's examination for the Short Range Certificate (SRC). The application will also assist in developing and strengthening skills for conducting marine radio conversations for all categories of seafarers. Developed in accordance with the rules of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the application contains everything necessary for successful preparation: a theoretical base, knowledge testing, examples of radiotelephone communication procedures in emergency (MAYDAY, PAN PAN, SECURITE) and routine situations (call a marina, call a vessel, radio check). With the settings, you can adapt the procedural cards to your specific vessel by specifying its name, type, dimensions, geolocation, and more. Learn, memorize, and practice vocalizing cards for various situations, using the phonetic alphabet where appropriate. Practice composing messages without subsequent on-air transmission. The default settings used do not pertain to any specific vessel.
