The SSAB WeldCalc app is a simplified version of the advanced SSAB WeldCalc desktop pro version.   Based on the welding method, the welding joint, steel grades and thicknesses, it gives you the result in seconds: - Recommended preheat and interpass temperatures. - Recommended minimum and maximum heat input. - Recommended welding machine settings (amps, volts and travel speed). - Risk analysis.   You can save the results on your device and share them as PDF. The WeldQ mobile app is for the registered users of the WeldQ platform/website. WeldQ is available for welders, inspectors, supervisors, and coordinators to manage their qualifications and certifications, and to use as a digital ID card or wallet. The WeldQ app can be used to view your digital Welder/Supervisor/Certification cards, awarded diplomas & certificates, status/results of applications, and WeldQ emails. With the WeldQ app you can pay your examination fees and manage welder qualification confirmations. To apply and update your WeldQ account must be done on the WWW platform on your computer as well as initial applications. WeldQ is connected to the Australian Welder Certification Register (AWCR) which is managed by Weld Australia.
