The games included in WordWorks! are:
- Build That Word!
- Sort It Out!
In Build That Word!, children hear a word, and then assemble the word by ordering letters or groups of letters. In Sort It Out!, children categorize words based on spelling, sound, or other attributes. Both games include fun animations as children progress through the games.
WordWorks! is published by Center for the Collaborative Classroom, a leader in English Language Arts curricula that synergize academic achievement and Social-Emotional development. It is based on word games included in Collaborative Classroom’s Being a Reader© word study scope and sequence for grade 2.
Note that the games in WordWorks! are organized by the weeks in which they appear in Being a Readerⓒ grade 2.

Talkie Talk is an app designed by speech-language-pathologist Barbara Fernandes. It is designed to support children with limited verbal language, including children with language delays, autism, and who are beginning to learn to use visual support to communicate. Children who are communicating at the one word phrase ( using one word to express wants and needs) will benefit from listening and practicing to combine words to form short two word phrases such as the ones included on this app. It is recommended that parents continue to practice the phrases included on this app throughout the day in a variety of functional contexts to promote understanding of phrases.
As children are able to become proficient on dragging the words to create phrases, consider turning off the color coding system on the settings to promote independence. Soon we will be releasing another version of TalkieTot that will support creating three word phrases.
